Happy Naked Hiking Day!

In addition to being Father’s Day and the Summer Solstice, it’s also Naked Hiking Day!!! (Thanks Carolyn for reminding me!) I did a quick Flickr search for “Naked Hiker” to try to find a fitting picture for this post.

Yeah. I’m not sure I’d recommend that.

So instead, here are a few pictures of Jimmie and Henry, two hikers that go naked no matter the season, no matter the terrain. They’re hardcore.

Naked *AND* barefoot on rocks!

“Try to hike naked on the *winter* solstice, beotches!”

P.S. If you are determined to see Naked Hikers on Naked Hiking Day– Flickr user bareinthewoods has a collection of male hikers. I found this shot to be beautiful. Other shots didn’t agree with me as much– for example, this one looks like the hiker needs a cathole. And some shots. Well…These men are definitely more courageous than I! This photo is reminiscent of both the Henry shot above and George Constanza’s “Timeless Art of Seduction” pose. Enjoy and have a great day!

Yeahhhhhh… don’t think I’ll ever be naked hiking. Putting sunscreen on the exposed places as it is is a pain in the butt already, and there are some areas I really would rather not risk burning…
