Eighteen months after I first posted about the efforts to get a Virginia Appalachian Trail License plate, we have it! And it’s beautiful!!!!

Live in Virginia and want to support the Appalachian Trail Conservancy while having a nice plate of your own? Visit your local DMV!

    What does MS stand for?

@Anne – MS stands for Management Solutions, Management Solutions of Virginia.

    Is yours on order?

@geekhiker – Well… I’m not sure. I prepaid for my Virginia plate sometime ago, but now I live in North Carolina. So I think it all banks on whether my mail forwarding is still active. We’ll see!

I think I saw one of the North Carolina one’s on PCH this weekend. Not positive, he was a couple of lanes over and driving like… well, like an LA driver!

@geekhiker – Oh sweet! I love the notion that there is an Appalachian Trail license plate all the way over on the west coast.

Oooh, I should send you an AT sticker to put on your car. It’s stylish, it supports the Appalachian Trail and it is the perfect size and shape to cover bullet holes (I know this first hand)!
