  • D’oh. By the way, if this happens to me, don’t fret. My first name has been mangled so often, I am really quite used to it. And my married name is even worse! Anyway, I expect my patience for these misspellings to only increase with death.

  • Sweet. In 6-8 weeks, I’ll be getting a free Chick-Fil-A sandwich and a Coke. Jealous?
  • I think this is a better deal than the 6-8 week Chick-Fil-A sandwich. You get a discount immediately upon signing up and you get a free burger on your birthday. (If you don’t like beef, Red Robin can substitute ground turkey or Boca patties)

I got mail once when I was a kid addressed to “Sean Gorilla”

You better not give up burgers for Lent, then.

If she does give up burgers, it means she will claim at the end that she doesn’t like burgers anymore, then start eating burgers at every meal. That’s how it went with cheese this year.

I was *just* thinking about that. I went and got a tuna sub at Subway and I ordered cheese with it even though that was one of my big “cheese discoveries” from last year’s Lent— that the sub tasted just the same without cheese.

    Gorilla! haha

“I expect my patience for these misspellings to only increase with death.” Nice quote!

@Clint – Thanks. Just like Alfred Hitchcock movies, you may be seeing the effects of creativity to get around constraints. I had to revise my statement numerous times to comply with the character limit.

@Carolyn — I gave up “beef” two years ago for Lent. It was much easier than cheese.

With Red Robin, I think the best parts of their burgers is not the actual beef– they are very good at their combination of fixings. My favoritie is the Bleu Ribbon Burger. I’ve had it with a Boca patty, I’ve had it with beef. I’ve had it with the bleu cheese and I have had it without. It’s always delicious– I think it may be the onion straws and the tangy chipotle mayo I really love.
